If you’ve ever played the Call of Duty games on the Nintendo DS then the chances are that you’re quite familiar with the works of n-Space.
n-Space have primarily worked on handheld ports of popular franchises over the last few years, having released portable entries in the Call of Duty franchise as well as tackling the Skylanders series on the Nintendo 3DS.
However, it now seems that n-Space are looking to branch out into the home-console crowd with their latest game, an upcoming “high‐profile action RPG” game for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Full Job Description:
n‐Space is seeking an experienced Character Animator. We are looking for an exceptional animator that can bring believable life into any character. Your skill as an artist, actor, and gamer will drive you to create top quality animation for single characters or in‐game cinematics. You will be working closely with the Art Director and Designers to create an amazing gameplay experience on an upcoming high‐profile action RPG for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4!
Responsibilities:
•Works with Production and Art Director to create real time animations for characters and props.
•Assist design in cinematic camera animations and cutscenes.
•Work with Technical Artist to setup character animation controllers and blend trees in game engine.
•Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and pipelines.
•Works with Production to ensure time estimates are accurate and achievable.
•Communicate and collaborate effectively with the development team.
Candidates Must Have:
•Experience Level: Mid‐level
•Strong understanding of Human anatomy and movement.
•Expertise in animating all forms of life, including quadrupeds, and flying creatures.
•Understanding of traditional animation principles that enhance believable movement.
•Knowledge of motion capture retargeting and key frame animation.
•Self‐motivated and able to troubleshoot technical challenges.
•Working knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity 3D animation systems, animation state machines, and controllers.
•Experience with 3DS Max Biped animation tools or CAT rigs.
•An online portfolio showcasing multiple high‐quality samples of your work.
•Knowledge and love of fantasy RPG a plus!
Compensation/Position Type:
•6 month contract with potential to convert to FT staff position OR external contract opportunity available.
