Way back in the days of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System there was a charming little RPG known as ‘Brandish.’ Actually, tell a lie – it was first released on the primitive PC platform before being ported to the SNES.
It received high praise when it came out over in America, despite not being a best-seller it still remains something of a cult-classic.
A remake was later made for the PSP, though only for the Japanese market, much to the annoyance of just about every fan of decent JRPG’s here in the West.
It’s not all terrible as there is an English version releasing sometime in 2015 for the PSP and it will be called ‘Brandish: The Dark Revenant.’
Well, according to a new rating by the Australian ratings board, Brandish: The Dark Revenant may not just be getting a release on the PSP as the ratings board lists the upcoming RPG as being for multiple platforms.
The rating also mentions that there’s simulated gambling (something not taken lightly in the land down under,) as well as mild violence, language, nudity and sex.
So what platforms will Brandish: The Dark Revenant be releasing on, besides the PSP? We’ve not idea, but a cheery email has been sent to the folks over at XSEED.
