If you’re itching for a decent combat flight-simulator for the PS4 or Xbox One then the chances are you’re still scratching away – there’s just nothing out there at the moment.
However, that itch may be about to get a satisfying scratch.
The hugely popular IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad recently got rated by the Australian classification board where there was mention of violence, unsurprisingly, but the really interesting thing is that the new rating notes that the combat flight-sim is “multi-platform.”
So does this mean a release on the PS4 and Xbox One is incoming? Maybe. Heck, it could be coming to the PS Vita for all we know, maybe even the PS3 and Xbox 360.
We’ve emailed the fine folks over at 1C Game Studios to see if they can give us any clarification on the matter because there’s every chance that the Aussie ratings board may have just made an error.
Let’s hope not, because I for one wouldn’t mind some dog-fighting on the PS Vita.
Would you want to see IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad on consoles? Or are you a flight-sim purist who only plays on the PC? Either way let us know down in the comments section below.
