Broforce may not be coming to the Xbox One, not straight away at any rate, but it’s still set to release later on this year for the PS4, PS Vita, PC and Mac.
If you’re a PC player then there’s a chance that you’ve gotten some of your Broforce goodness thanks to the Steam Early Access where the game is currently available and is receiving overwhelmingly positive responses from players.
Unfortunately for PS4 and PS Vita players, Broforce probably isn’t going to be releasing anytime soon according to Free Lives’ Ruan Rothmann.
@ChrisHardingTGC It is unlikely that we will have the game finished by June, not to mention porting time!

It’s a little unfortunate but perhaps it’s for the best to guarantee a stable, working product come its eventual day of release, unlike some other games. Ahem.
That’s not all. The developer also shared a little bit of insight into what it’s like to be criticised as an independent video game developer.
@StasisGame yep… and then you see one negative comment and you instantly think “omg everyone hates it i am the worst ever!!”

It’s easy to see his point. Huge game companies such as Activision and Ubisoft are used to taking the flak, and with so many employees within their ranks it’s hard for individual developers within the firms to get the slack from the public, though they probably get an ear-lashing in the conference room.
Independent developers however are smaller teams, they’re an easier target for disgruntled consumers. So next time you jump on your keyboard to criticise another indie game, remember that these are people who do what they do for the love of games, not financial reports. Though the extra cash is probably nice.
