EA and DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront comes out later this year, and, while we still haven’t seen any solid gameplay that’s actually representative of the final product, we do hold high expectations for the long-dormant franchise.
Even if they are cutting out space-battles.
That said, many won’t touch a game until the reviews come out (ours is still a good few months away,) and rightly so. When a new game is being hyped up you don’t want to sink in £50 or whatever your local equivalent is and end up taking home a stinker. But for those who like to live life on the metaphorical edge, pre-ordering can be a bit of a money saver.
Online outlet CDKeys are running a promotion whereby you’ll be able to pre-order Star Wars: Battlefront for £24.99 (correct at the time of writing,) with the following £5 off code: HUKMAYDAY.
You won’t be able to actually play the game until it comes out, but you’ll be guaranteeing yourself a download code from the Origin service for the day of release.
CD Key’s are pretty reliable and are usually spot on with sending codes in a timely manner. They also have an offer whereby you receive an extra 5% off for liking their Facebook page. Ever penny helps.
Please Obi-Wan, don’t let Star Wars: Battlefront be a total turd.
