A little earlier today Ubisoft showed off Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate to the world with a short gameplay demo and a bit of a behind-the-scenes at the Quebec studio. (Read more on that here.)
At the end of the reveal we learned that Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate would be releasing for the PS4 and Xbox One on October 23rd with a PC version to follow shortly afterwards.
As expected, pre-orders are now being taken for the upcoming open-world ninja-fest, though Ubisoft may have their work cut out for them in getting people to stump up the cash before actually seeing the game in action. Yeah, people still remember Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
For those interested in Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Amazon UK are now taking pre-order for the game which is being priced at a rather expensive £54.99 – almost a tenner more than Assassin’s Creed: Unity sold for at most retailers around release day.
There’s also the special edition for those who don’t mind paying out a bit more and want to get their hands on some bonus content.
“The Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Rooks Edition, named after Jacob’s gang, is a testimony of the outlaw’s life shaped by robberies and murder. In addition to the game, this edition contains a collector’s box, an art book, a double sided London Map and the game soundtrack. You will also get access to 2 single player missions for an extra hour of gameplay.”
[Update] There’s also a much larger (and more expensive) offering over on the Ubisoft website, which you can check out here.
