Not many PS Vita games get to see the light of day. No, literally. Most games are released digitally via the PS Vita PlayStation Store without getting a physical release on one of the very small game cards, meaning our memory cards take a beating in the process.
It’s not surprising really as most PS Vita owners are happy to be stocking up on digital goodies thanks to the monthly PS Plus offerings, not to mention the wicked sales we’ve seen recently, though going all-digital would be a lot easier if the memory cards weren’t so expensive.
Still, some games do go above and beyond. Retro City Rampage was originally a digital-only release but it still managed to see a physical release, albeit it in a very limited fashion.
Now it seems that the cracking Terraria from 505 Games could be getting a boxed retail release, at least according to online retailer Amazon.
The retailer lists the title as being available for the PS Vita from June 2nd as a physical copy. It’s far from confirmation, but it’s pretty obvious that PS Vita owners will soon be able to get their hands on a physical copy. It makes sense too as Terraria also got a physical release on the PS4 and Xbox One, despite the game being extremely small in size.
