How To Boost Speed In Sonic Frontiers
As you scour each region of Sonic Frontiers, you’ll have the ability to boost your speed up, so he can rush to his enemies even faster. The only way to do that is to find Koco living in the environment; they’re the cute rock creatures that Amy and Sonic assist in Kronos Island. Once you come into contact with them, they’ll disappear and will be counted for the next step.
In addition, you can get 20 Lost Koco at a time by collecting enough tokens while fishing with Big The Cat. It’s a good move to increase your speed as fast travel is not available in Sonic Frontiers.

Where To Increase Speed
You can level up your speed by visiting the Elder Koco. It’s much bigger than its fellow Koco kind and has amassed green moss on its face. It almost looks like a beard. You can find the Elder Koco on the map; its icon looks like a koco with its mouth open. We’ve indicated it in the picture above.
To easily access the Elder Koco, we recommend filling out the map as soon as possible. Finish each checkpoint’s challenges and then it will open up more of the map in Sonic Frontiers.
Once you talk to the Elder Koco, you can decide between two choices: Increase Speed and Raise Ring capacity. The latter can certainly help with upcoming boss battles, but the first will help Sonic get around quicker. You’ll also need to parry if you want to succeed against the first boss Giganto.
If your speed is low, you should be thankful then that there’s no online co-op in Sonic Frontiers. At least they won’t beat you in a race.
