Uncharted 4 is due out next year after being dealt a hefty delay by Sony and Naughty Dog, but we’re expecting to see a lot more of Nathan Drake’s latest action-adventure this year courtesy of Sony’s E3 conference with maybe even a bit more at the annual TGS and Gamescom events soon after.
In the mean time, it looks like the official box art has been put out into the wild thanks to online retailer Amazon.
Previously, Uncharted 4‘s listing on just about every site selling the game was the very bland and boring placeholder art which just had the title emblazoned across it.
Honestly, it’s not that big of a surprise as this is the image that has been associated with the game for quite a while now. Plus, a press release with some art was put out by Sony a while back with this cover art labelled as ‘final’.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is due out sometime next year, well, before March 31st anyway. You can pre-order your copy from Amazon UK.
[Update 05:40] We’ve been in contact with Amazon USA to ask if they can confirm that the above image is what we’ll be seeing on store shelves next year. We’ll update when a response is passed our way.
[Update 05:50] Amazon US got back us stating that the above image was indeed passed on to the retailer from the game’s publisher for use in promoting Uncharted 4.
