Rumours have been floating around the nether regions of the internet for a while now that Ubisoft would be releasing the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles add-on games as one big pack. Originally the rumour was that the three games, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, India and Russia would be hitting the PS Vita rather than Sony’s handheld machine getting a “proper” Assassin’s Creed game.
However, it now seems ever the more likely that spin-off trilogy will be headed to the Xbox One and PS4, as well as the PS Vita.
Amazon.es recently put up a product listing page for the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Pack with the three aforementioned consoles mentioned though there was no sign of a PC release.
The online retailer also reckons us Europeans will be getting our hands on the triple-pack on November 19th – an unusual date. New games normally release on a Tuesday, though not always so this placeholder date may still hold some truth.
The next feature-game in the long-running franchise is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate which releases on October 23rd for the PS4 and Xbox One with a PC version following sometime later.
In all honesty, we’re not really surprised to see this coming from Ubisoft as we previously reported that the China edition was recently rated for the PS Vita.
For the past couple of years the firm has gotten used to releasing more than one Assassin’s Creed game per year, so this’ll be another way for Ubisoft to scrape a bit more profit together. We’re not complaining though – the PS Vita could do with more decent games.
