Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is due out this October 23rd for the PS4 and Xbox One, but what about the PC version? When Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate was first announced, Ubisoft stated that the PC version would “follow soon” after the PS4 and Xbox One release.
Today, Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of the stealthy action game will release on November 19th – less than a month after the console versions.
“The additional four weeks are for us to really bear down and finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one,” explains Ubisoft’s Kovalev.
What’s more is that PC player will be able to run the game at an uncapped framerate and at whichever resolution they want – so long as their systems can handle it. However, Ubisoft also stated that the recommended system requirements will target 1080p at 30fps. We’ll have to wait and see if that turns out to be the case.
Assassin’s Creed Unity launched with a ton of problems on PC last year, so we’re all a little wary of how Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will run.
