Crackdown 3 has been on the tip of the tongue for a long time. Ever since we got the disappointment that was Crackdown 2, we’ve waited patiently for a third to rear its head and show us a good time. That time is now, ladies and gents.
Though, it should be noted that Crackdown 3 wasn’t officially announced as Crackdown 3. It was instead just called ‘Crackdown’ with it being noted that it wasn’t to be a sequel to the poorly received Crackdown 2, but would be a whole new beginning for the franchise, a reboot if you will.
The new trailer, which was shown today by Microsoft, shows off a lot of destruction, explosions, shooting, running, jumping and a lot more. What’s really impressive is that the game will be highly destructive with entire buildings being shown crumbling to the ground. According to Microsoft this is only possible on Xbox One due to the mysterious power of the cloud which will give the Xbox One the boost it needs to deal with all the extra processing to make such an elaborate and destructive world.
It’s all very exciting and what not, but we have to remember that this isn’t coming out until summer 2016. Enough of our waffle, go on and enjoy the trailer down below.
