Where is the Desert Coliseum in Tears of the Kingdom?
The Desert Coliseum in Tears of the Kingdom is an arena full of Horriblins. Players must defeat each wave of Horriblins in order to complete the challenge and earn a reward.
You can locate the Desert Coliseum quite easily in the game, but you might have to explore the depths if you haven’t already. It’s in the bottom right corner of the underground section of the map.
You can see the exact location on the map above in case you’re not sure where to look.
To get there easily you can travel to the Kasari Lightroot, which is right next to the Coliseum. It’s also near the Gerudo Underground Cemetery and the Gerudo Dark Skeleton. The entrance to the Desert Coliseum can be found on the northern side of the arena.
What are the rewards for completing the Desert Coliseum?
Completing the Desert Coliseum in Tears of the Kingdom is quite tough if you don’t come prepared. You’ll have to defeat five waves featuring 3 regular Horriblins, then 3 Blue Horriblins, 2 Black Horriblins and a Silver Horriblin, each one progressively stronger than the last.
The final wave is the hardest and includes one Horriblin of each colour.
The Horriblins will also be coated in gloom, which will drain your health bar when you get hit. We recommend using arrows and fighting them from afar, or using spears to melee attack them from a safer distance.
Horriblins can crawl on the ceiling, and hitting them in the head in this state will stun them for a long time, opening a window for you to defeat them.
After you defeat all the Horriblins you’ll see a treasure chest spawn. Inside this chest you’ll find Sheik’s Mask, an iconic item from one of Zelda’s most recognisable characters. This Mask has 2 defence and enhances your stealth, meaning you can sneak around more easily.
