Devil’s Third is a WiiU exclusive coming out later this month in Europe – except it’s not a WiiU exclusive. Well, sort of. Read on and you’ll see what we mean.
The main Devil’s Third game will be releasing only on the WiiU, but there’s also a free-to-play Devil’s Third Online that will be releasing in some territories. As you can probably guess from the title of the game, it won’t feature the main campaign, but will instead offer frantic multiplayer action. Of course, being a free-to-play title, there will be micro-transactions involved to allow the developers to recuperate some of the development costs.
Free-to-play online shooters aren’t all that popular here in the West, but in some territories, like Russia and Asia, the market for such games is huge.
The game will go into closed beta this later this year, so Putin, mate, if you’re looking for a new way to massacre people, check it out.
Here’s the trailer, in Russian of course.
