Are you having trouble with Hardwood not spawning in Disney Dreamlight Valley? There are hundreds of resources to collect in Disney Dreamlight Valley, some are much easier to grab than others, but within hours your inventory will be bursting at the seams. Unfortunately, as with most relaxing games like this, it’s not always so simple, and factors such as spawn rates play a huge part in that.
One of the most infuriating resources to find is Hardwood. Not only is its spawn rate reasonably low, but it’s also a frequent building requirement in Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you’re looking for more Hardwood and are pulling your hair out at the thought of scouring the map one more time, here’s what to do if you find that Hardwood is not spawning in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where To Find Hardwood Not Spawning In Disney Dreamlight Valley
While it may seem Disney Dreamlight Valley is glitched, unfortunately, it’s simply that Hardwood is fairly rare. Many players have criticized its spawn rate, but even after several updates, it still appears to be fairly elusive. If you want to increase your chances of finding Hardwood, we do have a few tips to help improve things.
Unlock Multiple Biomes
Your first port of call should be to unlock more biomes in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This will drastically increase your chances of finding Hardwood throughout the world. It’s been confirmed you can find Hardwood in the following locales:
- Glade of Trust
- Forest of Valor
- Sunlit Plateau
- Frosted Heights
- Forgotten Lands
Upgrade Your Shovel
By completing Anna’s quests, you will discover the means of upgrading your shovel in Disney Dreamlight Valley. By doing this, you can remove those ugly stumps around your world, and in the process, perhaps find some Hardwood buried within. If you want to increase your chances, this is highly recommended.
Restart Your Game
If you’re still not able to find much Hardwood in Disney Dreamlight Valley, rebooting your game can force items to respawn and give you the means to travel around and pick up any pieces again. It’s a bit of a pain, and you may have to wait a little bit, but it doesn’t take too long for things to respawn in your world.
Outside of this, there’s no real way of speeding up the process and does ultimately come down to a bit of luck. Hopefully, it’s something developer Gameloft decides to speed up in the future, as it can be quite a pain trying to track down Hardwood in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
