Echo took their first lead in World of Warcraft Shadowlands Sepulcher of The First Ones Race To World First Mythic Raid. They beat Team Liquid for the first time since the 12-day event started. The news was confirmed on Twitter. Up next are Mythic Rygelon and the final boss of the Shadowlands expansion, The Jailer.
Echo took just 62 attempts in order to get their World First kill against the Lords of Dread. It took Echo 361 attempts to defeat Halondrus and 152 to pass Anduin, the two bosses Echo had spent almost a whole week fighting.
Echo has now killed nine of the 11 Lords of Dread bosses and is just two kills from a second consecutive RWF win.
Team Liquid was ahead at the start won World First kills on seven bosses in the first eight raid encounters. They also held a nearly wire-to-wire lead for the entire event.
The Vigilant Guardian, who was the raid’s opening boss, was the only one for which they didn’t win the World First title. The guild The Early Shift was responsible for the first kill of that boss. They have yet to defeat any other bosses in Sepulcher.
