Elon Musk shared his ridiculous Elden Ring build on Twitter. Fans of the game criticized Musk’s decisions on building his character. They also made fun of it as the character has two shields equipped at the same time.
The CEO of Tesla tweeted about FromSoftware’s latest action RPG. After his praise of the game, one of the fans asked about his character build. While he replied that he was going with a powerful mage, he also added that he would post some pictures of his build the following day.
Musk did actually stay true to his word and posted the pictures of his Elden Ring build. The pictures that show his build’s stats and items do not seem very smart, though. First of all, Elon Musk’s Elden Ring character can not roll effectively due to his high equipment load. In FromSoftware games, not being able to roll around to avoid attacks is equal to death.
While this stood out the most, fans of the game pointed out many other problems regarding his character build.
Elon Musk Elden Ring Build
That’s why fans of the game are baffled by this build. While Elon himself knows that he should lower his equipment load, he has equipped two shields at the same. He says that he constantly changes his build to come up with different playstyles. But the stats he increased and the balance between them also show that Musk decided to have “experimental” gameplay.
Elon Musk Elden Ring build uses Carian Knight’s Shield and Heavy Brass Shield. While these two are actually effective shields, equipping them at some time can not benefit a character in any way. But Musk faces the consequences like the heavy roll due to high equipment load.
Musk said that he has a powerful mage that can also attack with melee weapons. This means that he focuses on Intelligence and Dexterity. In another reply, he says that his mage uses a shield in his left hand and staff in his right hand. Adding that he switches to claws and rapiers from time to time. If you are curious about his stats, have a look at them below:
- Vigor: 31
- Endurance: 23
- Mind: 38
- Dexterity: 25
- Strength: 16
- Intelligence: 68
- Arcane: 9
- Faith: 9
A majority of players criticized his stat point allocations as well. Most players say that he does not need that much Intelligence. Even though he says that he focuses on Dexterity, the stat points of the attribute show that he actually does not.
He also went short on equipping Talismans. His build has Radagon’s Soreseal equipped, which is a great Talisman for strength-based characters. It boosts Vigor, Strength, Endurance, and Dexterity while increasing the damage taken by 15%. Those who have strength-based characters can equip this Talisman for sure. But it is definitely not the best choice for a mage as casting characters should do anything to avoid taking more damage.
They are more fragile characters when compared with an STR build. The fact that the Elon Musk Elden Ring build has this one equipped also baffled the fans of the game. His defense in equipping Radagon’s Soreseal might be having the Crimson Amber Medallion as well, which boosts the HP. It is understandable that he wants to neutralize the 15% increase of damage taken, but there are better Talismans in the Lands Between that would suit his character more.
And seeing that he has spent a considerable amount of time Elden Ring, it is just puzzling that Musk is running around with this build.
