If you’re looking for the locations of the ESO companions and how to unlock them, this guide will tell you all you need to know. Elder Scrolls Online has a small number of companions for you to find, and this guide will run through all of them. So without further ado, let’s take a look at the ESO companions locations and how you can unlock each one.
ESO Companions: Locations and Unlocks
There are four companions currently available in Elder Scrolls Online, with two more coming as part of the new Necrom expansion. Companions have to be unlocked on each character, but their level up progress is spread across all your accounts.
Firstly, you can find two ESO companions locations in High Isle. If you have access to the High Isle DLC, you can unlock these two companions by completing their quests in the High Isle zone.
The Khajiit Ember can be found in Draioch, north of Ganfalon Bay in High Isle. Complete the quest “Tower Full of Trouble” and you’ll unlock Ember as a companion.
You can also find Isobel in High Isle. You’ll find her in Castle Navire, on the southwest coast of the zone. Completing her quest “Tournament of the Heart” will unlock her for your character.
If you have the Blackwood DLC, you can find the locations of two more ESO companions, including Bastian Hallix. He can be found in Deepscorn Hollow on the southwest coastline of the Blackwood zone. Complete the quest “Competition and Contracts” to unlock him as a companion.
Mirri can be found in the Doomvault Vulpinaz in northern Blackwood. Complete the quest “Shattered and Scattered” after talking to her to gain her as a companion.
ESO Companions: Necrom Expansion
There are two more companions coming to ESO as part of the Necrom expansion. This DLC will release on June 5th 2023 on PC and Mac, and consoles will be getting it later on June 20th.
First off in Necrom, we can recruit Azandar Al-Cybiades. This ESO companions’ location is in central Apocrypha in Cipher’s Midden. Complete his quest “The Fateweaver Key” to unlock him.
You can also unlock Sharp-as-Night, an Argonian, by travelling to the gates of Necrom, the main city in the Telvanni Peninsula. His associated quest is called “The Double Edge”.
