Fallout 4 promises to be one of the year’s biggest hits in gaming, but will your hard drive take a drastic hit to accommodate it? Well, that depends on how you look at download sizes. Some games are extremely taxing on bandwidth whereas others are a little lighter, Fallout 4 falls into the latter category.
The download size for Fallout 4 will only cost you 28.12GB of hard drive space on the Xbox One, but we imagine it’ll be a similar affair with the PlayStation 4 version of Bethesda’s game, too. PC users will probably face a bigger hit on their bandwidth – especially once modders get to work on creating extra content.
It’s always handy to know ahead of time what the install size of a game is, that way you can look at your current line up and make the tough decision as to which will be uninstalled to make space for the new arrival. Or you can just get a bigger hard drive and stop such cruel, cold digital murder. You bloody savages.
Fallout 4 releases this November 10th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
