Late last year Ubisoft came out and announced Far Cry Primal for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4, seemingly from nowhere. The game takes place some ten thousand years or so before Far Cry 4, in a prehistoric era. Instead of running around shooting everything that moves, you’ll have to make do with caveman weapons and taming wild animals to get your murder on.
Far Cry Primal is due out on PS4 and Xbox One February 23rd, while the PC release is set just over a week later on March 1st. Ubisoft has since revealed the system requirements needed to run Far Cry Primal on PC.

If you had hopes of running this on your crusty old laptop that struggles with multiple tabs on Internet Explorer, bad luck. There’s still time to upgrade your gear, though.
