The Hogwarts Legacy Niffler is an adorable creature that can help buff your gear with its fur. Originally featured in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, the Niffler is infatuated with gold. Here’s where to find the Hogwarts Legacy Niffler.
- It would be nice if we could change our names in Hogwarts Legacy.
Where To Spot A Hogwarts Legacy Niffler
The Hogwarts Legacy Niffler can be found southeast of Feldcroft, where the “In The Shadow of the Estate” mission takes place with Sebastian. There is also a Floo Powder location nearby in the Feldcroft Catacomb. Keep going southeast down the main path until you find an overwhelming amount of gold by a tree. Thankfully, you won’t need to change the time of day for the Nifflers.
The Nifflers are obsessed with shiny objects, so you’ll find them hanging out around the area. To catch them, use Levioso, Glacius, or Arresto Momentum to keep one still and then bring out the Nab-Sack. Offensive spells like Incendio wouldn’t work. They’ll then be saved and can be placed in your Vivarium in the Room of Requirement.
- Want to unlock doors around Hogwarts and beyond? You’ll need Alohomora.
How To Get Niffler Fur in Hogwarts Legacy
To get the Niffler Fur, you’ll need to feed it and care for it with your brush. Once that has been done, it will drop some Niffler Fur on the ground. It will take 25 minutes for each Niffler to regenerate the fur, but you can bring multiple of the same creature into the Vivarium to get more of it.
The Niffler Fur can then be used to upgrade your gear. Head over to the Enchanted Loom and give your gear new traits with the new resource. You may need to find a trait around the open world to match the Niffler Fur. In fact, you’ll get a trophy or achievement for upgrading your gear once.
It may be wise to gain a new Spell Set for caring animals such as the Hogwarts Legacy Niffler. You can do that by going to your Talents and unlocking “Spell Knowledge I.”
