A Target reservation card in the US for the long-overdue Homefront: Revolution has seemingly outed the game’s release date after being spotted by a customer. In the image posted to Xbox Achievements, the date of May 17 is clearly posted above the game title, as well as being literally spelled out in black and white at the bottom of the card.
However, the date has neither been denied nor confirmed by publisher Deep Silver, who has previously only stated a release date of sometime in 2016 after the game was hit by delays last year. Of course, this could be a very elaborate hoax, but going by the look of the image below we’re inclined to believe this one’s genuine. Still, to the rumour pile with this one.
