Tears of the Kingdom: Where to find Steering Sticks
The best way to get Steering Sticks in the game is by finding Device Dispensers, which dispense Zonai Devices. There are numerous Device Dispensers in the game where you can find Steering Sticks, mostly on Sky Islands.
You can feed Zonai charges into these Dispensers to get Devices, but you need to find specific Dispensers for the Steering Stick.
Steering Sticks can be found in Device Dispensers at the following locations in the Sky Islands. You can use Skyview Towers to reach them:
- Necluda Sky Archipelago above Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower
- Dragonhead Island, Faron Sky
- Valor Island, South Lanayru Sky Archipelago
You can also find them in the depths:
- Left-Leg Depot, Construct Factory under Popla Foothills
There may be more Device Dispensers we haven’t found yet. You can also randomly find Steering Sticks among other Zonai devices at a variety of locations.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to use Steering Sticks
Using Steering Sticks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is pretty simple compared to finding them. Simply drop them from your inventory, and then all you have to do is attach them to your vehicle of choice using Ultrahand. Make sure it’s standing upright though, or you won’t be able to steer.
Once you attach a Steering Stick to an appropriate vehicle, it will start moving on its own. That is, if you’ve connected something like Big Wheels, Fans or other ways to get your vehicle moving.
It will steer in the direction you move your control stick. This makes getting to where you need to go much easier.
That’s all you need to know thanks to our Steering Stick Tears of the Kingdom guide.
