Connectivity is essential in any multiplayer game, and Wild Hearts crossplay would open up the player base for multiple platforms. With ferocious beasts to take down, you’ll need your friends to succeed and receive those sweet, sweet resources. Here’s what we know about Wild Hearts crossplay.
- Wild Hearts will not be heading to Xbox Game Pass, at least at the time of writing.
Can You Play Wild Hearts Crossplay?
Being able to play Wild Hearts with your friends on PC and Xbox if you have a PS5 would be tremendous. Thankfully, that will be the case.
“You’ll be able to seamlessly join two friends on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Origin, Steam, and Epic Games Store) to hunt down Kemono,” says the official Wild Hearts F&Q. As the game is not available on PS4, Xbox One, or Switch, you won’t be able to play with your friends with older generation consoles.
While Wild Hearts can be played by yourself, it is far more enjoyable to play games of this genre with friends. It’s quite surprisingly then that Monster Hunter Rise does not feature crossplay. In this case, Wild Hearts certainly has an advantage over its competitor.
- Will Wild Hearts live up to the juggernaut of the monster-hunting genre?
Is There A Wild Hearts Demo?
For those who you want to convince to jump into Wild Hearts, there will be a 10-hour limited trial for Wild Hearts. They will need either an Xbox Game Pass or EA Play subscription to gain access to the game. The latter only costs $5 a month, so it may be worth diving in. The EA Play service also provides trials for games like FIFA 23 and Need for Speed: Unbound.
There is no confirmation of Wild Hearts coming to Xbox Game Pass yet, except for the 10-hour trial. However, other EA Originals published titles have emerged on the service like the award-winning It Takes Two and Lost In Random. Of course, there is no guarantee but it might be worth waiting for Wild Hearts to come to Game Pass.
