After a long wait, Nintendo has finally shared official details on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 4 DLC contents and release window during the Nintendo Direct event aired on February 8, 2023.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4 Release Date
The Mario Kart 8 Booster Course Pass Wave 4 release date has finally been officially announced, as is scheduled to arrive on March 9, 2023.
This gives you not long to wait now until you can jump into all eight new tracks, so you better get practicing. The Wave 3 Booster Course dropped back in early December, so it hasn’t been too long since the last set of new tracks, giving you enough time to master those and get ready for a new challenge.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4 Tracks
Here’s a full list of all of the tracks being added in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 4 Boost Course Pass:
- Singapore Speedway (Mario Kart Tour)
- Bangkok Rush (Mario Kart Tour)
- DK’s Snowboard Cross (Mario Kart Wii)
- Amsterdam Drift (Mario Kart Tour)
- Riverside Park (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
- Mario Circuit (Mario Kart DS)
- Waluigi Stadium (Mario Kart Double Dash)
- Yoshi’s Island (New)
As you can see, there are some really exciting tracks on offer here. Fan favourites from games like Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Double Dash couple a few tracks from Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart Super Circuit. Additionally, we have one completely new track in the form of Yoshi’s Island which you will be able to discover for the first time.
Furthermore, Nintendo has confirmed that Birdo will be a new character added to the game. While they are currently the sole announcement, the video does state that ‘more returning characters will be added’, suggesting that Birdo is just the start.

To get the new courses coming with Mario Kart 8 Wave 4, you must own the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, which costs 24.99 USD. Or, you must have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.
