What Is The Sera Card In Marvel Snap?
Sera is unlocked randomly in Pool 3 and is an extremely powerful card to use – if you know what you’re doing. She has a power level of 5 and an energy level of 5, which may not seem entirely strong, but her on-reveal ability puts her ahead of most cards.
After playing Sera, every card in your hand will cost 1 less energy point, meaning you could potentially play a wide range of cards. 1 cost cards will now be reduced to 0, and 6 energy cards have the ability to be buffed with a less expensive card in your hand. If you’re wanting to know the best decks to use with Sera, we have you covered.
Best Sera Marvel Snap Decks
As with many other cards, there’s a variety of tactics you can use to ensure you’re making the most of Sera. Some players like to play with pure power, whilst others like to mess with their opponent using destroyer decks. Here are the best decks you can use with Sera bundled in:
Building Deck
In this deck, you can use early cards that build up power, before throwing down Sera to use a bunch more on the final turn. This can quickly overrule an opponent, who may be left stunned by your move.
You can interchange most of the cards, but we recommend using the following:
- Sera
- Bishop
- Mojo
- Angela
Angela and Bishop are important, as they’re buffed with every further card you place down. On your final turn, you can then place multiple cards down to give them one last buff and tip them over the edge to victory.
Destroy Deck
Another option is to use destruction cards to win in Marvel Snap. These can be low-power cards that become more powerful once destroyed. Using Sera on the final turn can prove invaluable, as you destroy all your cards and win the fight.
As with the previous deck, you can interchange most of the cards, but we recommend adding the following in:
- Sera
- Nova
- Angel
- Bucky Barnes
- Deathlok
- Killmonger
By placing all of these cards and using Deathlok at the end, you can quickly buff them all. Adding in Killmonger can also destroy your opponent’s 1 power cards that you no longer have as they’ve been buffed.
Power Deck
Another alternative is to throw down a fair few lower-power cards and buff them with mid-tier ones. This can be a devastating final blow, and quickly turn the tide of battle in your favour.
Again, use whatever cards you like, but ensure you introduce the following to your deck:
- Sera
- Squirrel Girl
- Colleen Wing
- Mister Fantastic
- Dracula
- Captain America
Throwing these down puts a ton of low-level cards, but combining them altogether – or even adding Captain America as a buffer – means you could become victorious almost instantly.
Marvel Snap is all about experimentation, so we recommend mixing and matching and seeing what works for you. However, these could prove to be decent baselines for your deck and allow everything else to fall into place.
