Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain may have received high scores across the board, but there’s no denying that it’s not without its fair share of problems.
Blank screens, lost save files and crashes are all problems that have plagued players since the game’s release earlier this month, but thankfully Konami has now released a patch to address some of the issues that have been giving players a headache.
Strangely, instead of the new patch being 1.02, we seem to have skipped straight over to 1.03. No big deal, but for the OCD crowd it may be a little annoying…
The new update is available to download now and will take up around 435MB of hard drive space. You can have a gander at the full patch notes down below.
Version 1.03
-Fixed an issue where under specific conditions, the game halts progression in the black screens displayed after clearing Mission 29 and Mission 42.
-Fixed the issue where once the prior issue is triggered, the save data goes directly to the black screen and game progression is halted
-Fixed the issue where using the selection controls during the tutorial when first buying an FOB the game halted progression.
