We finally know when we’ll be suiting up and donning the cape and cowl in Batman: Arkham Knight as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced its release date. Yay!
As well as telling us when we’ll be able to buy the game, Warner Bros. have also detailed the two special editions of the game. The first being the Limited Edition which will come with a steel book case for the game, a limited edition comic, an 80-page book containing concept art as well as three in-game costumes and a Batman Memorial Statue. The cost? A staggering $99.99/£89.99. Ouch.
If you though that was expensive, wait until you read this…
The Batmobile Edition comes with everything that is included in the Limited Edition, apart from the memorial statue. Instead of the memorial statue you’ll receive a Batmobile statue. The cost for this slight change? $199.99/£169.99.
Personally, I’ve never given a toot for all the extra bits, I buy a game because I want to play the game, not stare at a statue. However, there are those who will pay for it, and I say good luck to you.
You’ll be able to drop your cash on these from June 2nd 2015, as Batman: Arkham Knight releases on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Do you have the cash to burn for these special editions? Or are you going to be getting the traditional retail release? Let us know down in the comments section below.
