Have you been leaving Killzone Mercenary out in the cold recently? Been waiting for a reason to boot up the shooter on your PS Vita? Well now there’s a good reason to! Killzone Mercenary is to receive a brand new patch that will breathe fresh life into the meaty portable shooter.
The new update allows players to take the fun and action of the multiplayer portion of Killzone Mercenary, and enjoy it offline by playing against bots. You will be able compete with up to 7 AI players and even switch the games up to your liking. You’ll be able to play offline across all 8 Killzone Mercenary multiplayer maps, as well as the nifty ability to earn your multiplayer Trophies without raging out against some stranger.
The latest update weighs in at a fairly small 23MB, though bear in mind your PS Vita memory card may take a beating if you haven’t been keep up to date with Killzone Mercenary’s updates over the last few months. The full roster of updates will take up a hefty 549MB, so maybe it’s worth upgrading your aging 4GB card, you damn cheapskates…
