It has recently been revealed that Disney, who now owns the Star Wars franchise, has given “the most hated company in America”, EA, exclusive rights to developer future games set in the Star Wars universe.
EA will be setting their team of in-house developers to work on Star Wars games, including BioWare, DICE and Visceral Games, however, Disney will still have the right to develop and publish “new titles within the mobile, social, tablet and online game categories.”

EA are notorious for running franchises into the ground and implementing controversial micro-transactions, Online Passes as well as just being generally the biggest dicks of the gaming industry. They weren’t voted worst company in America for no reason.
