EA has officially revealed the much rumoured Mirror’s Edge 2 during their E3 conference.
This comes after months of rumours and even a few leaks by EA themselves on their own website. This is no doubt good news to those who enjoyed Mirror’s Edge, though we’ve no idea what platforms the first-person action/adventure title will be coming to.
Mirror’s Edge 2 will be taking advantage of the Frostbite 3 engine and is of course being developed by DICE, the creators of the series.
As for a release date, we’re none the wiser on that either. According to the teaser trailer it’s “coming…when it’s ready.”
Still, it’s good to know that it’s on the way. My money is on Mirror’s Edge 2 being released on current-gen consoles as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
