Brace yourselves, the biggest game ever is coming to the PS Vita: Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.
OK, so it’s hardly Grand Theft Auto 5 or Battlefield 4, but hey, it’s another game for the PS Vita catalogue and will no doubt find an audience within the PS Vita crowd.
Announced on the PlayStation Blog, Epic Mickey 2 has been confirmed for the PS Vita and will feature a few unique touches for this particular port, including use of the touchscreen for painting and an exclusive two player co-op mode.
“Join the legendary Mickey Mouse on a fun-filled quest to bring a splash of colour back to Wasteland – a weird and wonderful world of forgotten Disney toons – in this long-awaited sequel. Exploring alone, or alongside the loveable Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in a co-op adventure, Mickey must use his enchanted paintbrush to find new paths, solve puzzles and battle evil mechanical monsters.”
It may not be the summer blockbuster we’re all hoping for, but it’s another shelf filler that will hopefully pull in a few more buyers for the PS Vita. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release was critically panned, but maybe it’ll be a little better on the PS Vita? Maybe…
