There’s another licensed game coming from Activision this May in the form of Fast & Furious: Showdown.
Fast & Furious: Showdown is a tie-in for the next Fast & Furious movie, Fast & Furious 6. Yes, they’ve made a sixth film based and cars going fast with music…
Set to release this May, Fast & Furious: Showdown puts you behind the wheel of some fast cars which you can customise to your liking, take to the road with a friend in co-op and generally cause mischief whilst getting your ears abused by loud music.
After Activision’s recent slew of licensed games (The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, 007 Legends and the criminally short Wreck It Ralph) I can’t say that I hold much confidence for this one, though to be fair some of the gameplay mechanics sound like good ideas, but whether or not they’ll actually work as intended is something we’ll have to wait to see.
Fast & Furious: Showdown‘s release date sits at May 21st and will see a release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC. Once again, Activision is showing no love at all for the PlayStation Vita.
