The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Warner Bros. upcoming Lord of The Rings prequel, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, has been delayed, whilst the PS4 and Xbox One releases will still launch on their original release date.
Warner Bros. reasons for the last-gen delay is that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions “will take more time in development,” and as such have been delayed until November 18th in North America and November 21st in the UK and Europe.
However, the next-gen versions of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be releasing on September 30th for North America and October 3rd for the UK and Europe.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be releasing on the PS4, Xbox One, PC and eventually the PS3 and Xbox 360.
It’s a bummer that the games been delayed, but it’s not the biggest delay we’ve ever seen, but maybe it’ll convince players to purchase the next-gen versions rather than wait for the last-gen release.
