Wii U owners who are looking to add some racing fun to their collection will be in for a treat this March as Need for Speed: Most Wanted is being released for Nintendo’s latest home console.
Come March 19th for North America and March 21st for the UK and Europe, Criterion Games’ rebooted racer will be available, bringing with it some nifty new gameplay features, with the most impressive being the ability to play only with the GamePad, without the need for the television.
As well as being able to play on the GamePad, there’s a new co-op mode for you and a friend to take part in as well as the GamePad being used for the map. There’s also a slight change to the name, nothing massive, just an extra ‘u’, so it’s really – Need for Speed: Most Wanted U. Yep, it’s silly.
Another thing to remember, the Wii U version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted comes bundles with the Ultimate Speed Pack download content, so you make a nice little saving if you’ve yet to buy the game on other platforms.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted is without a doubt one of the top racing games available today, with a great big city to whizz around and a functional online component, you can’t really go wrong. So if you’re looking for some racing on the Wii U, this one may well be worth checking out.
