Yesterday Rockstar announced the release date for GTA V on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with the latter coming a lot later than the next-gen console versions.
Many questioned Rockstar on Twitter and through their official forums, asking why the PC version of GTA V was releasing in 2015 rather than alongside it’s home console counterparts, to which Rockstar replied:
“We’re glad to see so many of you are excited for the upcoming release of the new versions of GTAV and we look forward to sharing more details with you soon. We are also incredibly excited to be bringing GTAV to the PC, but the game requires a little more development time in order to ensure that it is as amazing and polished as possible.”
Well how about that, a straight forward answer from the normally reclusive Rockstar! Hopefully given the extra development time GTA V will run smoothly on PC release day, unlike GTA IV which suffered horrendously on the platform with various issues.
What we’re really looking forward to is the GTA V mods that will eventually be released.
Has Rockstar satisfied your curiosity with their statement? Or do you demand that they come round to your house, put the kettle on and beg for your forgiveness? Let us know down in the comments section below.
