Monolith Productions, the studio behind last year’s critically acclaimed open-world Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor are knocking their heads together to get their next game up and running.
We previously reported that Monolith are possibly working on a sequel to Shadow of Mordor, something that fans will be more than happy to hear as the ending did leave the possibility for more stories to be told.
Yet another career opportunity ad within the studio has appeared online, giving us some new hints and information as to the nature of the next game from the studio.

Shadow of Mordor received great praise for its narrative and ability to draw players in and invest in their character and his story. It seems that Monolith are once again going to be crafting another fantastic tale for us to become attached to.
Also, note that the job advert more or less confirms that the next game from the studio will be an open-world title of sorts and will focus on action-adventure. Sounds a lot like Shadow of Mordor to us…
Here’s hoping that Monolith announce a follow-up at some point in the future, but for the love of Tolkien, don’t make it an annual release as we’ve got enough of them already.
