Good news! (It’s the best kind)
Yesterday we told you how Xbox Live players were having troubles with the Xbox Live service, both on their Xbox 360 consoles and on the www.xbox.com website.
Well, today it’s some good news! For most users of the Xbox Live service it’s back to business as usual with all problems being fixed, except for some cases where players are having issues with the Xbox Live Cloud service.
Microsoft updated their alerts page accordingly with the following message to players:
“Good news! Our engineers have successfully restored purchasing capabilities. Those 80154080 and 8015000A error messages members were receiving when trying to purchase Microsoft Points and content will no longer be a problem. Thank you for being patient and enjoy!”
“Our engineers have mitigated the issue affecting members’ ability to access xbox.com and log in to Xbox LIVE. However, some members will continue to experience difficulties when attempting to access information stored on the Cloud. We will keep this message updated every 30 minutes as our work continues. Thank you for your patience!”
That’s only good news for Xbox Live users, the outage hasn’t lasted too long and you should be able to get back online by now, albeit without the use of Xbox Live Cloud, but at least you can play online again! And most importantly for Microsoft, you can now spend Microsoft funnymoney on the Xbox Live Marketplace once again.
Are you back online yet? What games are you playing at the moment? Let us know in the comments below!
