Call of Duty: Black Ops II will undoubtedly be a huge sell for the Wii U when it’s released.
The gameplay and features that fans have come to expect will all be present in their finest form, apart from one that is.
Kotaku confirmed after speaking with Activision that the Wii U version will not come compatible with Call of Duty Elite.
Here’s what Activision had to say on the matter.
“We are currently evaluating options for Call of Duty Elite to support Nintendo’s Wii U game system. However, Call of Duty Elite for Call of Duty: Black Ops II will not support this platform when the game launches on November 13th.”
It’s not the end of the world, and it by no account means to say that Elite wont be making its way to the Wii U further down the line.
Nintendo fans will just be happy to have a fully featured Call of Duty experience.
