Things just keep going from bad to worse with Konami. First they lose Kojima, then they cancel the Silent Hill game starring The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.
Not content with just sticking the knife in and leaving it there to drain the blood, the publisher has decided to give it a twist and a yank by completely removing P.T from the PlayStation Network.
Even if you had previously downloaded the super-scary demo in the past, you will not be able to re-download it from now on. Why? Haven’t the foggiest. Maybe Konami are just doing their best to kill their customer base, maybe it’s a legal issue; either way it sucks. Big time.
However, some users are reporting that they are still able to obtain P.T from the EU PSN while others aren’t (namely North America), though i t’s only a matter of time before it’s gone from the EU store as well as the rest of the world.
So if you want to keep a bit of gaming history in-tact then don’t delete P.T from your hard drive because once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
Those $1000 PS4’s on eBay with P.T installed suddenly look a lot more inviting…
