Second World War strategy game Panzer Corps 2 is making its way onto PC Game Pass. From 12th April, subscribers will be able to download Flashback Games hex-based WW2 game.
Panzer Corps 2 was developed on Unreal Engine 4 and offers a variety of single player and multiplayer modes with over 1,000 unit types to be commanded across more than 60 unique single player missions.
Publisher Slitherine said that it “is thrilled to now be able to bring the Panzer Corps series to a whole new audience of players.”
Panzer Corps 2 arrives on PC Game Pass ahead of the game’s upcoming sixth DLC. The ‘Pacific DLC’ is due for release in the first half of 2022. The Pacific DLC will be available to players that own Panzer Corps 2 via PC Game Pass however a separate purchase for the DLC will be required.
Panzer Corps 2 was originally released back in March 2020 and is something of a spiritual successor to 1994’s Panzer General. The game currently holds a “Very Positive” response on Steam and is sure to be a great addition to Game Pass for fans of strategic World War 2 battle simulators.
The game will be one of the first deep strategy games for PC gamers on Game Pass and will join another Slitherine publication, the recently released Warhammer 40,000, on the service.
Slitherine recently announced that the publisher would be delaying its other upcoming strategy game, Starship Troopers – Terrain Command, until later this year to give the development team at The Aristocrats extra time to polish the game.
