Earlier today Microsoft announced the details of their E3 briefing and it turns out the platform holder will be taking to the stage before Sony and Nintendo, much to the distaste of many Xbox One fans.
Some feel that Microsoft going first gives Sony the opportunity to one-up them by altering their briefing dependent on what Microsoft bring to the stage.
Phil Spencer, the top man over at Microsoft’s Xbox division doesn’t seem to think it’s an issue, in fact, he’s pretty chilled about it.
@marquis_ray We set our tone and show. Others can react if they want to but I’m comfortable being the first platform briefing.

@marquis_ray I actually think they do less/none of this than people think. They have their own show to run but I understand the concern. — Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) May 14, 2015
Windows 10 and Xbox One seem to be merging together quite nicely, though if you’re expecting to see games get a bit of an under-the-hood boost from Windows 10, you’ll be severely disappointed, at least according to Phil Spencer.
@rav3nnz No, you won’t see shipped games perf change based on work we are doing in the future. Sorry.

It’s a shame, but it’s not totally unexpected, but hopefully games released after the fact will be given the care and attention needed so that people aren’t asking these questions. Looking at you Ubisoft, straight at you.
