Classic RPG fans rejoice! Obsidian Entertainment’s incredible foray into the isometric RPGs of yesteryear will be receiving yet more content in the form of a new expansion pack called Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part 2. The expansion will emerge on February 16, 2016:

Additionally, there will be a raised level cap and a lovely new companion called Meneha the Barbarian. The expansion, or “xpack” as I understand all the cool kids call it, will be emerging a little later than planned, as Obsidian had previously announced plans for a January release date.
Pillars of Eternity has been lavished with a great deal of praise from fans of old school RPGs, and its success was thanks in no small part to its nearly 80,000 backers and $4 million budget. Interested in playing the original game before the expansion comes out? You can pick it up from steam here.
