It’s been a rough couple of years to be a PS Vita owner; the handheld has been all but forgotten by Sony, as has its little brother, the PlayStation TV. It wasn’t so long ago that Sony stated that we shouldn’t expect any games from Sony’s first-party studios any time soon. It’s a shame really. However, it’s looking like 2016 could be something of a resurrection for the plucky handheld that just refuses to “die”.
It was stated during the PlayStation Experience 2015 that’s currently taking place in San Francisco that this year’s event will feature more PS Vita content than ever before. A bold claim, then. There’s no word on any PS Vita announcements just yet, but perhaps we’ll be in for a surprise or two over the course of the keynote conference and the rest of the weekend? What would you like to see announced for PS Vita? Just don’t expect Gravity Rush 2 to make an appearance, at least not unless you intend to remote play the game from your PS4.
