UK retailer Asda has cut the price of Nintendo’s latest games console to just £149.99 for the basic bundle and £199.99 for the premium version.
The 8GB basic Wii U console previously retailed at £199.99 but now Asda has taken £50 off the RRP bringing it down to a very reasonable £149.99. In addition to lowering the cost of entry for the basic Wii U console, Asda has also slashed the price of the premium Wii U console from £249.99 down to £199.99 and comes with 32GB of storage and Nintendo Land to get your games collection started.
The Wii U has struggled to move units since it’s launch last year, prompting fans and critics to call-out to Nintendo for a price-cut, but so far Nintendo has turned a deaf ear on its audience and left the price-cuts down to the retailers.
Surely these bundles will help move a few more Wii U consoles, especially the basic bundle at the low price of £149.99.
