The stuff of legend?
Sony has announced the PS Plus games for March 2022, and it’s a decent month but, as always, there’s something worth having a whinge about. We wouldn’t be true gamers if we weren’t complaining, right?
Next month’s PS Plus lineup is very multiplayer-centric, which may not be to everybody’s taste. Here’s what you’re getting in March:
- Ghost of Tsushima: Legends – PS5 and PS4
- Team Sonic Racing – PS4
- Ghostrunner – PS5
- Ark: Survival Evolved – PS4
Now you may have noticed that the first-party Ghost of Tsushima is on that list, but it’s not the full game, and this is a point of contention among some fans on Reddit and Twitter. If I’m being honest, it’s a bit of a bummer for me, too.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is the add-on multiplayer mode for the full game, but you don’t get the full game. I suppose the idea here is to hook you and your mates in with a taste of the multiplayer add-on in the hope you’ll go and buy the main game. Hey, it might just work…
Ghostrunner has previously been available on PS Now, but only the PS4 edition. The version being offered to PS Plus members in March is the PS5 version with all the upgrades, which is a nice touch.
Ark: Survival Evolved is a decent, albeit wonky dino-survival game that’s worth a look if running around naked for hours is your thing.
And then we have Team Sonic Racing. ‘Nuff said.
