Normally, when one pre-orders a game, the wait until said game reaches you isn’t usually that long. Maybe a couple of months?
Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4 is probably the longest wait you’ll ever experience once pledging to buy a game – unless a game is delayed by a good few months, at least.
The PS4 edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider is available to pre-order on Amazon, and as expected, there aren’t any special or limited editions listed just yet, though we imagine they’ll come eventually. It’ll cost you a ripe $59.99 and you’ll be waiting until this time next year to play it, maybe a bit longer. It’s due to release sometime during the Winter of 2016. Christ, you may even die in a horrible accident before it releases.
PC players only have to make sure they survive for a few months as Lara’s adventure will release on PC in the earlier months of 2016.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will release on Xbox One and Xbox 360 this November 10th. PlayStation players will have to make do with live-streams and numerous Youtube videos.
