Infinity Ward has been teasing a possible new character skin for CoD: Ghosts, the skin in question being that of fan favourite John ‘Soap’ MacTavish.
A tweet from the developer of CoD: Ghosts suggests that Soap may be released as a new multiplayer skin, much like Captain Price was released a while back.
If the previous character skin DLC of Captain Price is anything to go by, the next character skin DLC should include the character skin (duh,) player card and background, gun reticule, patch and weapon camo. Though bear in mind this is just a tease at this time, so don’t assume anything for the moment.
We’re going to go out on a limb and say it’s more than likely that Soap will be released as a character skin, shortly after the release of the next map pack titled Devastation. Devastation is set to release on May 8th for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Are you looking forward to the possibility of playing as Soap? Or do you see it as a bit of a waste of money? (Seriously, you’re paying for other people to see what you’ve bought…)
