Microsoft is doing gamers a real solid with the latest promotion on its retail site by offering any bundle with a free copy of Assassin’s Creed Unity and two extra free games, offering potential savings of around $150, depending on which bundle and games you choose.
As an example, the Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One Bundle is $349.99, then you get Unity for nothing, then you can choose two other games from the list which is as follows:
Halo 5: Guardians
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
Forza Motorsport 6
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour
Project Cars
FIFA 16
NHL 16
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5
Ride
Screamride
Mad Max
Kinect Sports Rivals
Halo The Master Chief Collection
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
LEGO The Hobbit
Sunset Overdrive
Transformers Devastation
Killer Instinct Combo Breaker Pack
Terraria
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Just Dance 2016 (Out of Stock)
Madden NFL 16 (Out of Stock)
LEGO Jurassic World (Out of Stock)
Batman: Arkham Knight (Out of Stock)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Out of Stock)
NBA 2K16 (Out of Stock)
Phew. That’s a lot of choice right there. Not a bad deal, right? For reference, Amazon is offering a similar deal where you get a console bundle, a gift card for $50 and a free game of your choice. We’re still inclined go with the Microsoft store, though. Expect more competitive bundles and offers in the next few weeks with the run up to Christmas; those prices are coming down, like it or not.
