PS Vita and PS3 players will be a little peeved to find that the physical editions of the turn-based-strategy title Space Hulks will not be releasing on schedule later this month. Originally pegged for a July release before being pushed back to September 26th, Space Hulk will now arrive on the PS3 and PS Vita platforms this October 23rd.
Space Hulk is a 3D turn-based-strategy game set within the Warhammer 40,000 universe. It actually released a couple of years ago on the PC where it received mostly positive reviews from critics and players. Priase was directed at its compelling gameplay and story of intrigue, though it did draw some criticisms for mission designs that didn’t encourage replayability.
We’re quite looking forward to giving this one a go at some point, especially on the PS Vita as it seems to be the perfect platform for such an intimate game.
The game is set to release on October 23rd, but we can’t guarantee the date won’t shift again, but we’ll keep you updated no matter what happens. Be sure to keep an eye out for our review when the game comes out.
